One of the Regulator’s objectives is that players enjoy taking part in the National Lottery in a safe and healthy manner and their consumer rights are upheld.
To meet that objective, the Regulator keeps a watchful eye on the Operator (Premier Lotteries Ireland) to ensure it is meeting high standards of consumer protection and working to prevent problem gambling as envisaged in the Licence.
The Regulator is committed to "ensuring a safe and enjoyable National Lottery experience for all participants with fair rules and procedures for each game and appropriate measures in place to protect against underage and problem play."
